Glad you made a post for him. I'd honestly pick him as high as late second round, though he won't go that high.

I remember one of my sons playing against him(Hibbing) in a Squirt B championship. Hibbing were not talented except for him and a couple of others. They were down 7-3 in the 3rd, but ended up tying it and winning in OT, 8-7. I think he had 5 goals.

Smart, skilled, player. If he fails to make it in the NHL, it won't be because of lack of IQ. I think he might fit into today's NHL pretty well.

Perunovich is a freaking stud. And he's exactly what the Blues need in their blue line... a mobile puck moving defenseman. Their D is currently good but slow and not really mobile so he'll be a great add!

ZERO talk of this guy. Leading the NCAA in dmen points with 33 points in 27 games and 60 PIMS. Tied for 8th in the whole NCAA in points.

Does he sign after this season or does he go back for his final season and then do the UFA thing? any rumors out there?

Have to imagine the blues are going to try to sign him and dangle the burning of his first year of the ELC this season.[/QUOTE]

Perunovich-Pietrangelo
Scandella-Parayko
Dunn-Faulk

with good depth behind them too. Have to think it’s the best blueline in the NHL

You're penciling in Perunovich as a first pairing Dman already? Are you sure that STL will be able to re-sign Pietrangelo? Jumping the gun a bit, no?

Surprised this thread is so light. He had a huge year.
He's a steal from where he was drafted, Im not surprised he's doing so well, he's just another one of those slighter D that always gets overlooked. It doesnt help that he was a full 2 years older than Boqvist in the year of defensemen.. love his game.
