1 goal + 1 assist in his first playoff game. +3 and leads his team in shots on goal. Dude is firmly entrenched in his team’s top 4 defenders as an 18 year old. Enjoyed an excellent rookie season. Getting all the ice time and situational hockey to develop quickly. On Avangards dime and time.
Gave his club a 1st star level performance in his first playoff game. Gulyayev would definitely be picked higher that 31st in a 2023 redraft. He’s outplaying the KHL guy Arizona took 6th overall. Thank you Alex Newhook trade.
Avs nailed round 1 of the 2023 draft. Avs Drafting like they are the Dallas Stars that night.

Sure, but Gulyayev has already entrenched himself as one of his team’s best dmen, while Simashev has not.
I understand that their profiles are different, but, this year, Gulyayev has been much better than Simashev.

Definitely the Avs prospect that excites me the most. There is no team in the league he's better suited for and no better mentor than Makar for his skillset.

He's still pretty raw, but man, the athleticism/tools that he has make his ceiling very intriguing to think about.

Mikhail Gulyayev is in no hurry to leave for the NHL because he wants to follow in the footsteps of Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov - to come to North America and immediately become a starter for the Colorado Avalanche, who selected him with the 31st pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.

I think this guy is incredibly underrated and is likely to be NHL ready by 25-26 at the latest. Looking forward to seeing him dominate.

For those who get to watch him, i was hoping his usage would be similar to the end of last season 15-17min. But it seems to be back lower like 12min last game. How does he look?
