Lots, but Hamilton, Hughes, and Casey are ahead of him on the offensive part. NJ is stacked
IMO Casey shouldn't be ahead of him. Nemec was dropped in my keeper league because he wouldn't get PP time when Hughes is healthy.

The poise/patience has been on display tonight.

His ability to hold the puck and freeze defenders buys all of his teammates so much time to find open ice.

He is the real and always has been. He will never be elite defensively but he can generates so much offense. A difference maker with the puck on his stick.

I can't wait to see him in 5 years. He's clearly still developing, but is already impactful offensively even without the points.

Already 2 excellent assists tonight, 4 points in 4 NHL games.

Anyone still doubting?

I'm skeptical, but I wouldn't go as far as doubtful. I need to see a larger sample size to consider it meaningful, but so far so good.

FTR: I've never really had a strong opinion of Hutson either way, so I have no skin in any of this.

I know...I know....it's the Habs. Hardy har har.....

but....

Lane Hutson has been our best player through two games.

Has done everything you could hope a prospect could do other than do it for a large sample size, but you obviously cannot fault him for that.
