Man Drysdale may never see the ice again.

Andrae is SUCH an upgrade it's not even funny. Send Drysdale to the AHL when he's healthy.

This dude is a beast

I kept mixing him up with Michkov tonight - same stature, similar number, similar skating, but he’s been all over the ice

the new Ghost Bear
He reminds me of Timonen.

He's awesome. The next Spurgeon. His breakout passing is a revelation. I think he's one of those types that plays better the better the league.

You could be right- those types of players are typically good playoff players too, especially if they have the physical edge Andrae plays with.

I’m curious to see if this kid keeps it up

I was expecting to see a smart puck mover, I was not expecting the physicality.

The real test is can he keep this up. The NHL is a grind and playing hard, especially as a small defenseman, is hella taxing.

Right, exactly. We have a player who is surprising currently and may have a bright future, but this is a great example of a stumbling block that Andrae may not be able to overcome. He is 5’9 and though he is built like a beercan he is playing a physical game meant for players 4 inches taller.

Because yeah it seems almost like he is too good to be true for a relatively unheralded prospect coming in like this.
