Rumour is that Moncton will be announcing he is joining their team for the remainder of the season.

That would be huge for Moncton.

It is just a rumour for now and nothing confirmed but apparently Moncton is making a major announcement tomorrow and it's been rumoured from a few scouts that it will be Krys joining the team.

Perhaps trying to load up on points playing the point with Conor Garland to improve his draft ranking?

Shannon (Moncton's GM) has denied it but that probably doesn't mean a whole lot, every GM would do the same. I'm not sold it's him coming; it may be another player if anyone at all. Shannon has said there is no announcement to make but Q scouts from other teams seem to think Moncton does so we'll see.

I know Krys did not play in the game vs UND last night. I was looking forward to seeing him, but he wasn't there.

Not sure if that means anything, but it is what it is.

Probably a break after the WJC but who knows. I hope he comes to Moncton but I'm not betting on it.

Krys played a horrible defensive game last night. He needs to improve his defensive play, big time.

Quite a ******* move at the end of the semis.
I had never heard of him before this but now I consider him to be the antichrist.
Unless he becomes drafted by Vancouver and he's the next coming of.. Jeff Brown?

Well, I guess deliberately injuring someone way more talented than yourself in a situation where the game is already over is one way of being noticed by the scouts... :shakehead Pretty sure Puljujarvi won't play in the final game now because Krys thought that they can still win the game with 2 seconds left and the puck in their zone. Such a disgusting, unnecessary move by this dip****.

Let's calm down here. He is still 18 year old. It was really dumb move to do and it is hard to defend it. I hope he realizes his stupid act and learn from it. Wish him all good if he grows little bit up.

I understand that he was frustrated for losing semifinal game.
But frustration for losing does not justify to slash your opponent ( Puljujärvi) and broke his wrist.

Hopefully he'll get suspended for bronze game.
What the **** he was thinking what a moron

I can't respect this guy

Being blown way out of proportion. Bad slash by Krys but he was falling over desperately trying to prevent the game sealing goal. Hilarious all the people claiming that this will hurt his draft stock or that he doesn't deserve to be drafted because of this incident. Though most of the noise is coming from overly emotional Finnish fans; but this isn't something that will effect Krys' career moving forward. The kid has a good amount of talent and even though his stock has dropped from the near universal first round pick earlier in the year I'd be stunned if he fell out of the third round.

Nope Pulju is playing so all the complaining was for nothing except complaining. What will hurt Krys in the draft is his play and it hasn't been overwhelming.

Completely agree. Dirtier players have been drafted in top 10. I hope he gets some kind of proper punishment for that. In my book what he did is not better than what Keith did for example. It wasn't just a normal slash he knew the game was over and just tried to hurt Pulju out of frustration.

Seems like his draft stock took a big hit this year. What round do people think he goes in now?
