Can Nikishin please just magically appear in the Carolina lineup next game please? We have all been patient enough and need to be rewarded as hockey fans to see him in the NHL once and for all lol

It's pretty much confirmed he is coming over. Contract cant be signed until the end of SKA season.
I mean it’s not “pretty much confirmed” whatsoever. Lot of speculation and the Canes appear to be extremely confident he’ll be signed soon, but they were also confident that fox would sign with them and Dougie would be re-signed so I take that with a grain of salt.

In reality, Nikishin speaks extremely highly of the KHL and Russia and has never once appeared to be in a rush to come to the NHL, so there is some cause for concern about him coming over. Emphasis on some. Ultimately the prestige and $ very much should get him over to NA as soon as next year but it’s by no means anywhere near being confirmed yet. Fingers crossed

There is no concern period. Why do you think they went out and got Deangelo and the rumors about Orlov came out? Also, they would’ve traded Nikishin if they felt he wouldn’t come over like Fox.

What does TDA have to do with Nikishin? And what Orlov rumors? They didn't trade Fox until after his college career ended and he officially was able to sign and unwilling. Nikishin could still pull the same stunt and be traded. I agree it seems unlikely given everything we've seen so far but that cat is not in the bag yet.

He is on pace for 15 goals and +50 so I would not say that. Not being on the Point for the 1st pp will take away some assists though which is no big deal
Yeah, his point pace is just taking an obvious dip and his offensive role has decreased somewhat, which I don't love. Though it makes sense why TDA would thrive on the big ice, I guess.

Deangelo is just one of the best offensive dmen in the world. Without his attitude problem he would be in the nhl right now
