I think a 5-year AHL deal would be unprecedented, but I agree about bringing him back. He's been a solid addition.

The nhl isn’t a development league and it’s not based on what his team mates think. It’s what management thinks. Yes, he’s made some fantastic saves and has stolen some games. You can call it what you want, but his scrambling will definitely cost him in the nhl the longer it goes on. Hopefully he gets his timing.

Guess what someone is going to have to take Dobes' net away from him in camp.
Thinking back to the last camp that might be hard to do he was probably our our best goaltender.
