I'm 100% certain he was in Montreal's plans this year. The injury really sucked.

Did Reinbacher not injure the same knee that had been impacted by past injuries? If so, that’s the part that could become concerning but he does seem to have recovered nicely.

I was a big critic of him, but seriously, I’d re-sign him and see if he can make it out of camp. Many goalies start to find their game right around his age. I don’t want them letting another Charlie Lindgren walk. I’m not convinced Dobes is ready for full time nhl duty yet.

Definitely not ready but he might be next season after a long playoffs run and a good off season this summer.

But yeah, he's not gonna be a huge producer in the NHL.

He is one of the main reasons we are in the post season and every player on the Habs knows it. So ask me if I agree.

I mean i hope Beck turn into a good NHL player but i have memories of people hyping Chipchura a bit the same way Beck was. But hopefully im wrong

I have no idea. What I do know is I don't move a player like Dobes who the players love and are ready to go to war for. I remember saying exactly the same thing about Sam Montembeault after his first season when the players started showing a preference for him over Allen. The players always know.

On the other hand, if Dobes only plays 20-25 games next year, for the Habs, it may be better for him, long term to be the starter in the AHL next year.

I think Primeau is on his way out this summer especially if he has a great playoff run. There are teams looking for an affordable decent goalie.

Why he said himself he feels honored to be in a back up role. His attitude is perfect and his improvement like Sam's will come from the work he puts in between games. Fowler is getting the net in Laval next season.
