I think we all need to calm down. The Bruins are really bad. This isn’t a good measure for how good Laval is. Let’s see how they are against a better team.

MSL had to break Barron and Xhekaj up to put Barron with matheson and Xhekaj with Savard cause neither of them were covering their guys.
Xhekaj has the toughness element, not sure Barron has a similar unique card he can play. Inevitably patience will have to run out and Maiiloux sitting here - not knocking but slamming on the door- will cause pressure

yeah but we rarely dominate teams. Completely outshooting them and outscoring them by a wide margin. Obviously it's early but still as long as call ups/injuries aren't out of control we should do well.

Just remember that Marty the Magnificent didn't put Mailman to run the PP in the preseason DESPITE Mailmans shot and skating, DESPITE Maiman being the 3rd highest scoring defenseman in the AHL.
But we do have an undersized, zero achiever 27 year old on our 2nd PP unit...

Mesar has really improved over the last year. He's added man strength for sure & has really picked up his defensive game.
It's definitely too early for the bust label.
He had a really solid game tonight. He was better than both Beck or Roy.
Mailloux needs to do what Xhekaj did last year. Just dominate and force the recall.

Great game by Mailloux and Mesar, among others. It is only one game!! They will not be averaging 4 and 3 points per game all season. Logan will not be called up after a handful of games!! He will have bad games, defensive miscues,.... Give him more time!!

I wanted to see how well Mailman-Guhle combo would work. I suspect light years better defensively and just as well offensively as Hutson-Guhle.
But we'll never know because Hutson and MSL are golden...for now.
