I had coach two player in their Bantam year. Luneau is a special D , he had play Midget AAA at 14. Fillion in the net is pretty solid too . Very calm and technical .

52 urheilijaa edustaa Suomea nuorten talviolympialaisissa Lausannessa - Suomen Olympiakomitea

pretty expected lineup... I would have chosen Maurola over Kaskimaa?? should be Kaskimäki

Looks like Sweden is sending the girls team once again.

I think, it should happen somewhen in December, because the tournament will start in the middle of January.

Has the Russian roster been announced? Would be interested to hear if Alexander Suzdalev is on it. He's eligible to play for Sweden and Russia. Best player on the Swedish U16 team in their first tournament. Looks like a special talent.

Russia has so many special talents on this age group, and as far as I remember, Suzdalev chose to play for Sweden.

Looking forward to seeing Savoie and Luneau play in this for Canada. Meanwhile, Shane Wright stays home, to hone his skills at a much higher level in the OHL.

So teams, that will participate at the tournamen (men): Switzerland, Canada, Russia, USA, Finland, Denmark

I mean, I understand, why Swiss, they are hosts after all. But why are Danes before Swedes?

As to rules:

"One goalkeeper plus five players make up a traditional ice hockey team, and that's what we'll see in Lausanne's six-team tournaments.
Both women’s and men’s tournaments consist of six teams made up of 17 athletes (15 players and 2 goalkeepers).
Five players and one goalkeeper will be on the ice.
Each game consists of three 15-minute periods, followed by a penalty shootout if teams remain tied".

I hope Savoie is still able to play. Got KO’d after getting laid out by a clean open ice hit against the Wheat Kings.

Dolzhenkov is an interesting kid. He's already 6'6, 200, and he has some skill as well. Then Kvochko, Malov and Gazizov. Perevalov is a LW, and usual Michkov's linemate, and Rogovskiy was 2nd in scoring at the Federal Districts Cup, behind Michkov only. As to defensemen, I'd say, Malyavin and Gulyaev are good offensive ones.

Team Russia beat Loko-Junior from MHL-B (2002-03 players) 9-6 in a pre-tournament freindly. Michkov with 2+2, Dolzhenkov 2+1, Miroshnichenko 1+0, Malov 1+0, Kudryavtsev 1+1, Grigoriev 1+2, Rogovskiy 1+0, Kvochko 0+2.

Is it? A positive then, since the female (sr) hockey in Sweden is on B nation level these days. Im not that interested in womens hockey, but its still amazingly poor.

No Canada, USA, Russia, Finland, Swiss. Who else? Czech? Not sure they are that good as well.
