7 dollar bet for the US gets ya 2 cents.
After last night's game which was an upset, no way in hell Latvia wins this one. They put all they had last night. Lol at scheduling makers giving Latvia back to back games vs Canada and USA
That is the gauntlet of hell.lol

I think USA rolls them over badly, 8-2 or something like that. I'm not even Canadian, but i just love hockey, I can't believe how many high end talents were left off that Canadian roster, f***ing joke tbh.

Hoping Team USA wins by 12 today, to further TC's embarrassment. With the exception of McKenna, Ivankovic and Schaefer, every one of those players, as well as the entire coaching staff (right down to the skate sharpener) and the entire management group should be banished from ever representing Canada again and should probably have their citizenships revoked for good measure.

Very rational take.

I do think USA will be extra motivated here, not just because Latvia proved you can’t take them lightly, but because USA would love to twist the dagger in Canada by showing them up. Tough draw for Latvia, I feel like by the second period they’ll be skating in mud, that was an exhausting game last night for them physically and emotionally, it’s hard to imagine they’ll have legs, and I can’t blame them for that at all.

On the flip side, if they do manage to pull this one out against USA and come away with these back to back wins it’s like Miracle 2 haha.

On my keister
Latvia doesn't have another miracle, but I'm still hoping they somehow pull off another one.

Realistically, this should be a fairly declarative win for the Americans.

Latvians need to save their bullets for weaker opponents, so as to avoid relegation. The win against Canada was a big step towards keeping in the top tier.

Agreed. Latvians are saving their second victory against the Finns. Mark my words. Lol.

And Germany being just as good as Finland and when losing the game between them I think they could become a tough game for the Latvians. I honestly think the Latvians have a big chance and perhaps even bigger chance to win against Finland than Germany.
I' ll write 50/50 or 55/45 against Finland and 45/55 against Germany.
You are obviously a Finn, right? We are such a negative and pessimistic nation that all this depression could basically power a dozen nuclear stations...

Don't think the Lats got much sleep lastnight, too pumped.
They'll get bombed today, but no fan will really care. It's the other games that matter.

While I am being (somewhat) hyperbolic, Dave Cameron legitimately should have been banished over a decade ago. The fact that I'm still watching this walking embodiment of formaldehyde behind the bench, 13+ years after what happened in Buffalo is beyond the pale.

That was one of the worst collapses I've ever seen from a hockey team at any level.

Cool beans wishing that on a bunch of teenage players representing their country… I guess you must have accomplished a whole lot more compared to what they have in their short lives….get a grip…
