Disagree wouldn’t need to add more . Florida would need to addI mean in both of my posts on the idea I suggested there would need to be something else in the deal.
I like Lundell though. I think he'd be a solid pick up. Definitely more appealing than a Yurov/Stramel package imo.
I'd probably put him in Cirelli territory, later 20s you get some 50-60 pt seasons. So tell me about this Lundell...Having zero knowledge of the guy and looking at his #'s - he appears to be a slight improvement over Copp.
Unfortunately they’d never part with dorofeyev. Any deal with Vegas would have to include 1sts 5-6 yrs from todayI would say it needs to be Connelly, derofyev + picks

I will absolutely lose my shit if Larkin is traded for a package that includes Wallstedt without Cossa going the other way for a blockbuster...or he or Cossa are flipped in a different trade.I dont have any interest in a 32 year old dman to flip. Minny can trade him or Wallstedt and use those assets in a Larkin trade.
Yurov and Stramel both would be coming from Minnesota in a Larkin trade. Wallstedt has the "value" but I highly doubt Yzerman cares to add another goalie.
Okay this one is actually getting interesting. It upgrades their roster and makes them heavy favorites. It slots Bennett back down a level to his best slot.
They still have 11.5 million to slot to the goalie fix along with 13/14th forward and 7th/8th D.
Absolutely not. Force him to play until he expands his list, otherwise if he doesn’t like it he can sit out and forfeit money. If I was GM I would absolutely not trade him to Florida, in division and we don’t get good assets out of it. If he wants to screw the organization over then we can do it back.Lundell would be fine, he might be yung copp or maybe more. The 9th would need to happen too, maybe we can grab Bjorck. I'd send a 50% retained Gibson, maybe we can throw a pick and get Samoskevich.
Expectations? Don’t think it’s much they’re getting a #1 c at a great cap hit signed longterm . Lundell and #9 is a starting point . I would much rather have Larkin rot away for two years if we need to start adding pieces to get samoskevich or other Florida spare partsFlorida would need to add something but good luck with your expectations. I hope you are right.

Any trade with Minny will need a 3rd team involved who wants a goalie.

Lundell is a #2C, he just doesn’t have the offense. But the important part of his return is he can check other #1C’s around the league without getting run over. That's fair, I'm thinking purely in terms of value. A top line of Cat/Lundell/Raymond seems serviceable if you pencil in Kasper as a 2C with a bounce back season.
You want to have Bill Guerin find a suitor for Wallstedt to maximize his value. We take a big risk adding him to the deal under the assumption we can flip him for good value.is there any merit to including Wallstadt in the return and then flipping one or two of our goalie prospects elsewhere?

I'm not saying Yzerman should rush things. I'm saying that he could wait 24 months and Larkin still isn't returning significantly more than Lundell + 9 overall. The player just isn't worth a ton more than that.I think the exact opposite. Yzerman will be patient. He literal job is riding on how this turns out.
He and Raymond could hit it off…2C is a fair assessment. He has put up 62 points in his last 87 games. Id say he is blossoming and could grow some more as he enters his prime.
