I've been watching Hutson all year on TV and being amazed at how great he is, watched the last three games at home live against Florida, Boston and Philly and came away even more enamored with him.

The first shift I saw of him he went around Marchand like he was a pylon in the offensive zone and that goal he scored against Ersson the other night I had a direct angle, the puck would have hit me square in the forehead if not for the net and the glass of course, and that was a beauty shot.

Which isn't much different than how Makar or Hughes were used in their rookie seasons. He's a damn rookie.

Guillaume isn't some genius either, contrarily to what the article tries to push. There's the peanut gallery on the main board who keep digging for stats like those. We already know his OZ faceoff % is high.

To note, Matheson is used mostly with the first line.

That's why I don't harp on Matheson too much. Anybody, who isn't an outright top tier defenseman in the league, would have trouble dealing with the work load he has.
