He has eviscerated his naysayers off the face of the earth
Suzuki is effective, not really spectacular.More love for Suzuki please.
Did you miss the wraparound goal yesterday?
Kinda spent some time keeping that thread up to date. Why so serious?
That's on you, though. Don't invest so much time and effort on a hockey forum where you don't control stuff and boys will be boys.Kinda spent some time keeping that thread up to date.
Richer should’ve been a HOFer. Just a great playerMost spectacular habs players in my lifetime
Born in 75 so I remember Lafleur in early 80s so:
In order
Stephane Richer
Alex Kovalev
Lane a Hutson
P.k Subban
When he was on.... Richer was so lethal. Unfortunately it seems that people remember just his shot but how many time Richer carried the puck end to end beating 3 or 4 players..
Kovalev was so smooth with one of the best hands in history.
His charisma on the ice was unmatched except of Lafleur.
I talked to him many times and his prestance and charisma off the ice was unbelievable. He was a lot bigger off the ice than he looked on the ice. The dude was huge.
Richer either.
Today Richer is maybe at 6.2 255 pounds....so big and not a lot of fat even today....those who have seen him in person knows what I talking about.
I would be more impressed if he beats Robinson’s +120Hutson is tied for the 9th best all-time season by a Habs dman. As a rookie.
Will he one day beat Big Bird's 85?
I would be more impressed if he beats Robinson’s +120which also means the team is a powerhouse.
I'd say more likely than not he does.Hutson is tied for the 9th best all-time season by a Habs dman. As a rookie.
Will he one day beat Big Bird's 85?
Of course, no other team ever had a goal differential of + 216 like the 1976 Habs team got.Kinda unfair considering how that Habs team is one of the greatest all-time versus its contemporary peers.
Nah Crosby had 62 in 80 (3 assists in game #80).Active players with 60 or more assists in their first 80 games:
Connor McDavid
Lane Hutson
That’s the list
Mike Johnson said something similar yesterday too. He said 4 weeks ago he thought Wolf and Celebrini were still in it but he's come around and said the trophy has to be Lane Hutsons.PK Subban on Lane Hutson:
''Two weeks ago, I said Macklin Celebrini should have been the Rookie of the Year. If the Montreal Canadiens make it into the playoffs, that is Lane Hutson's trophy. It should be his trophy."
"This is my favorite player to watch in the National Hockey League. He's carrying this team."
They have to start playing lower and attempting to make plays down low.Did you guys notice how aggressive NSH played Hutson on the PP ? I thought they did a great job on him. I don't like Caufield at the point , It should always be Suzuki , if teams lock in to Hutson like that its gonna open Laine and if they shadow Laine Nick will be wide open to walk in to the hash marks on the other side and hit his spot.
I wish CC or Slaf could play the bumper better we would legit have the best pp in the league
This was the hit on Hutson previously discussed. Definitely late and definitely dirty.
