Player Discussion Lane Hutson: Part 3 - Calder Edition

Hutson is one of the few that do not need outside motivation. He’s driven to be the best he can be.

Imagine how good he’ll be when his shot improves and he gets a bit physically stronger with age?

I still can’t believe there was people here trying to tell me his extension would be less than Suzuki’s. At this rate we’ll be lucky to resign him for less than 10m a year.

To be honest I would prefer Hutson not win (even though he’s all but guaranteed to win)….wouldn’t mind one but watching Hutson take his game another notch up just “to show’em”…

I don't think Hutson needs any extra motivation to work on taking his game to another level. The guy is a hockey workaholic.

I watched Hutson for two years playing for the NTDP. He was very good there, but I never expected him to be this good at the NHL level. He's so fun to watch.

Just heard what that nincompoop Snake Boisvert said yesterday. Another fool missing the forest for the trees. Kid was already top 10 all time rookie D when he made his comment about putting Hutson 3rd in the Calder race. Everybody's entitled to their opinion, but it's just completely foolish, even before last night as Hutson had much runway to beat Murphy's assist record.

Snake would fit well on the main board.

It's embarassing , as if we make the picks , 90% of the fanbase takes Michkov and love hockey regardless of where he would play , Russian dynamic talent in the league is always fun.
