All 8 Sharks fans are getting salty that Hutson has caught up (at least) to their golden boy Celebrini in the Calder race

The funniest thing is both Hutson and Celebrini most likely cheer for each other to win the calder. They are friends and played together last season. I will say though that Celebrini is very impressive. Way better than what was Bedard last season and even better than what was MacKinnon rookie season. Close to McDavid rookie season in term of play. Sharks fans have every reason to be happy to have Celebrini on their team. No reasons to be salty.

The bottom line is the hand-wringing was all for not. (Same as the “coaching is a problem” thread). Hutson’s dev has been great this season, which is the most important thing.

Yeah most of us knew he wasn't getting the reps off the rip.

No I am sure Snake Boisvert would only trade Hutson for his boy Connelly now (especially considering he would have drafted him 2nd last year)

I'm wondering if he might end up comparable to prime Erik Karlsson.

Funnily enough, the one Leafs fan I am friend with is absolutely in awe with Hutson and drafted him early in our fantasy league, real fans knows.
