It's unreasonable to expect any young player to be on Hughes or Makars level. It's safe to say he isn't tracking to be Cale Makar since Cale entered the league as a fairly complete player. Hughes is more possible, as he's improved every year to the point of being better than Makar. But I would tamper those expectations, to match Hughes' rookie season, he'd need 39 points in his next 44 games.

So it's possible he tracks like Hughes and keeps getting better and better, but to predict it now would be wild and he's well behind the pace to be at the same level. As others have said he has a lot of other D to compete with first.

14 points in 24 games this season, he play very well in both side. He show really high offensive potential in his game. Close to score 2-3 goals this year aswell with great highlights.

Can he have the same impact of Q.Hughes or Makar?
No.

Having 4 of the 5 options be, "he will be nearly or as good as perennial Norris candidates" is just stupid man. Be real.

I took the bait, but it was just too egregiously dumb
