It’s weird the validation Habs fans need from other fanbases. I just went on Twitter and saw a Wings account discussing the games and Habs fans were in there asking them what they thought of Hutson.

There’s also a million threads asking what Hutson’s value is, where he ranks, etc. And it seems that way with other Habs players, too.

People said the same thing about Ovi too when he was dancing around. Now Hutson isn’t built like the great 8 and I’m not comparing the two’s impact, but the “they’ll get smoked eventually” argument is always such a hater move

Maybe not. Marty seems to have put Caufield in a box. Offense only. Same may happen with Hutson. And it’s fine if he does that btw. Hutson logs a lot of ice. I’d rather we save him for scoring. Others can handle the pK stuff.
