ROY DU NORD!!!
His defensive play on the winning goal was crazy.
Not just that, he's playing more minutes and he's playing a tougher position. Especially for a rookie. Celebrini is fantastic but so is HutsonHe and Celebrini are definitely the frontrunners as of now. If Hutson continues to improve like he's been doing then he has a good shot at the Calder. Hutson has had the biggest positive impact on his team of any rookie, that's for sure.
No one has said it's a slam dunk either wayBoth are fantastic. Foolish to say one or the other is a slam dunk. I think this will go right down to the wire
All true. I'm partial to d-men, but voters typically aren't. Celebrini would have edged out Hutson a few weeks ago if I were voting. Hutson has the slight edge now in my book. Both dudes are incredible players. Stoked to see how they play the second half of the season. Not just that, he's playing more minutes and he's playing a tougher position. Especially for a rookie. Hutson is now 2 points up Celebrini. Let's see what Celebrini is going to do in the game against Utah. All true. I'm partial to d-men, but voters typically aren't. I must be reading a different thread thenNo one has said it's a slam dunk either way
You must be reading into things people post. Maybe I missed it but I'm not seeing anyone saying it's a slam dunkI must be reading a different thread then
3 points up. As of now.Hutson is now 2 points up Celebrini. Let's see what Celebrini is going to do in the game against Utah.
Did they use to say injury is part of the game?3 points up. As of now.
But Celebrini played 9 less games.
He's also a forward so you'd expect him to have more points. I hope the ultimate decision is based on more than points tho that's the bias of course3 points up. As of now.

Celebrini is probably the most impressive 18 years old in quite some time. What’s Hutson doing is so impressive too and as a defenseman. That’s a great calder battle. He's also a forward so you'd expect him to have more points. I hope the ultimate decision is based on more than points tho that's the bias of course
Utah game is over and Celebrini got no point.3 points up. As of now.

Oh yeah, either would be worthy at this point. And we'll have another strong candidate next season with DemigodCelebrini is probably the most impressive 18 years old in quite some time. What’s Hutson doing is so impressive too and as a defenseman. That’s a great calder battle.

Ah okI think he's referring to the actual calder trophy thread. There's plenty of these types of takes.
Ah ok
Well that is dumbThis was Hutson's 18th evenstrenght point in his 41st game. He's pacing to tie Bourque and Leetch at 3rd all-time rookie D at ES (36). Seeing how he has 11 in his last 21, which is ~150% of his production in his first 20 games (7/20), he might reach Larry Murphy at #1 (40).
I responded to at least two posters who said he was a lock.
