Still avoiding the question i see

Maybe stop posting advanced stats without context to promote an agenda if you’re not ready to get called out on them

“Bleeding chances “ is highly dependent on what kind of team you play for, usage, teammates etc.

Posting xga/60 without context is dishonest, but you already knew that
You’ve said literally absolutely nothing at all. He’s bad defensively. Ass. Clear from the eye test and statistics. Sorry that offends you, but most rookies are bad defensively. Especially midgets that are on the worst defensive team in the league playing lots of minutes.

Luke Hughes was pretty bad defensively as a rookie and is now outstanding. You can crown Lane if that happens.

It doesn’t offend me
You tried passing off xga/60 as some sort of proof that quinn hughes was better defensively as a rookie than hutson

Remember when you posted that?

Yes, I remember that point that clearly demonstrated that Quinn Hughes was better than Hutson defensively as a rookie.

Anyway, bad defensive player:

this is you conceding that xga/60 was a bad comparison and should not have been used

Merry Christmas

I thought all the haters were imagining the Quinn Hughes comparisons. Only took a couple points to change the confidence of some posters

You’re just as bad as the crosby fans that use the same boneheaded intangibles argument that was used against them with toews that they now use to suggest that crosby is better than mcdavid.

Years of hearing idiots say “karlsson should be a forward “ has rotted your brain to the point that you think it’s a valid suggestion for lane hutson.

Go demonstrate hockey knowledge elsewhere
Nah.

Karlsson never was anywhere near as bad defensively as Hutson is.

We shall see if Hutson improves defensively, it won't be hard.

Hutson is way better defensively than Hughes when he was a rookie.

Hughes was awful back then.
Hughes is 6’2, long reach for height, one of top 3 skating Dmen in the NHL. Do you really think he is the right guy to compare to? Find someone Hutson’s height, weight and skating that has been this bad defensively then see what they improved to.

I mean, most of them live in the "world class dump"that is Montréal

Of course they are insecure
Why would you insult someones city? Just keep it to hockey. You going to insult their home and occupation too?

Anyway it was a long time ago but i remember erik karlsson having a meme worthy rookie season going -31 or something

As you suggested there is room to improve, and Hutson certainly will. Especially when they find him the right partner. Matheson/savard aint it

More than one hughes defenseman in the nhl 😎

Unless quinn is 6’2 which i don’t think he is

Yea, figured that out a few posts later haha

As someone mentioned above, pairing Hutson with a defensive stud that excels denying zone entries, wins battles down low and can make breakout passes will maximize his value on Montreal.
