I personally hate his PK setup. The D-men play too high up in the slot and leave the net front wide open, and never clearing the crease,

I worry about the team when it comes to Landeskog because if he shows up in the playoffs, they're going to be insanely pumped up. However, if after a game he realizes he can't go anymore that is going to be the complete opposite end of the extreme spectrum. The loss of morale will be huge.

Very tricky situation.

True. No real choice but to go through with it though and let the chips fall where they may. Would have been similar if something happened at the end of the regular season or in the AHL.

My snail brain can understand bad powerplay, but bad PK is beyond my processing power

Oh, so he's going to be eased in before he gets to Nate's 26-28 mins. That's good!

Naw...the 24 minutes were even strength. He'll be picking up a couple more minutes on the PK.

It's actually really easy to explain what makes a bad penalty kill. When we concede powerplay goals, that means the penalty kill is bad. Hope this helps.

I keep thinking about how bittersweet it's gonna be for Mikko.

He'll be so happy to see his buddy accomplish his goal, but he won't get to celebrate it with him. If he and his team want to have success, that means Landy can't, and vice versa, and if the Stars don't win, then Mikko probably didn't play well, and he'll continue getting roasted.

Sports can be an unforgiving world at times.
