Landeskog Practicing w/Team

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
I can’t imagine Landeskog will return to the first line. If he did, that’d push Lehkonen down in which case I’d rather Lehkonen play with Coyle and Colton (who looks like he’s playing better lately to my eye) than have Drouin there. Regardless, people talk about the Stars having the best forward group. I’m not so sure about that but I’m not as knowledgeable about other teams as some on here are. A Landeskog-Coyle-Colton line wouldn’t be your typical third line. It’d be like a 2.5 line, at least I think they’d be that good assuming Landeskog is fit.

So hyped to see him back. Proving the doubters wrong hopefully. He's done when he says he's done.

I wish I could be there for his first game in the Can, get some seismometers on standby, this Avalanche is about to cause some serious seismic activity.

Game 1, Landeskog grabs that piece of shit Benn and beats the shit out of him....

The rest of the team goes nuts and we are going for a run that will go down in history.......

A man can dream.......😍
Yeah, reality is probably more like: Landy takes the ice and Benn immediately targets his knees and gets away with it because the league doesn't seem to GAF about guys intentionally going after the opponent's top players in the playoffs. ...and if it's not Landy it will be Mack, or Makar, or Necas, or Lehky, etc. That is Benn's MO. He always targets one or two top guys from the opposing team and takes them out. He does it every year.

Not if he gets taken out first....,😎

Does anyone know how to watch the first 2 episodes of the clean sheet show with Landy? I don't have TNT/TruTV so I couldn't watch them live

I am as happy as the next guy about Landy coming back. That said, I am not 100% sure that knee will hold out for even 1 game, let alone 3 more seasons. One aspect I do not think we have covered is the impact that Landy on LTIR has on cap accrual. His LTIR completely eliminates it, making Cmac's job a little tougher come each of the next 3 trade deadlines.

I’m kinda kringey about this.

Love Lando but this is gonna be like Peyton Manning v2.0. I was sitting in the stands when Peyton took his first sack and the entire stadium just gasped because we didn’t know what would happen next. That moment will for sure happen in Ball.
The same Peyton Manning who won a superbowl in his last ever football game? Yeah he was shit but let’s not ever forget that opening drive which first got the Broncos on the board. They never looked back after he lead them downfield.

Let’s f***ing go

Lehkonen - Mackinnon - Necas
Drouin - Nelson - Nichushkin
Landeskog - Coyle - Colton
Kelly - Drury - O'Connor
Kiviranta/Wood/Vesey

If Landeskog returns at even 80% the player he was in 2022 then that's easily the deepest forward group in the league

I think a fully healthy Dallas and fully healthy Florida are both on that same level in terms of depth and overall firepower, so I'd disagree a bit, especially about the "easily" part. But those are definitely the top 3 IMO, in no particular order COL/DAL/FLA.
