Well LA is 3,000 miles away so maybe us Isles fans don't fully appreciate how Bergevin is viewed...
Wang's son will be our representative.Just wait until you see his expressionless mug representing the Isles at the draft lottery tonight.
Maintenance is just waiting to unplug the fax machine.Lamariello is still there?
Are people afraid to tell him to leave?

Even annual playoff teams need to improve their standards...
Not super embarrassing as he's already under contract by that team.Well that would be embarrassing if it happens again (Panarin), but still...Make it so.

No reason to move 3,000 miles and start from scratch with a worse team when the same job is waiting for you at home.
That's downright Wang-ian of you!Bring me the best candidate for the job and I'll judge it case by case. Some 68 year olds only have another 1-2 years left of work in them. Some could work another decade.
I'd really like to hire the best candidate for the job...Who could be on the job for a decade plus.
If we have to rehire someone else in another 3-4 years I'd argue that isn't the best person for the job.
IDK, that could actually be a positive here. The NYR kind of blew it by letting him get away, so if he came here and had success it would be rubbing it in their faces.Gorton still has that Rangers stink on him. It never goes away.

We already had a few Blake’s (Comeau, Kessel and Jason). I think we’re set on the Blake quota for now.Probably stating the obvious here but stay far far far away from Rob Blake
Can’t remember where, but I remember Blake saying he’d retire after his Kings positionProbably stating the obvious here but stay far far far away from Rob Blake

You forgot the last part. "And then there's "'Eraserhead"'.I like this line... "There's no good movie that's too long, and no bad movie that's too short."
Karma. They're going to send Scott Gomez. He's wearing this jersey:Just wait until you see his expressionless mug representing the Isles at the draft lottery tonight.
I would take him and offer him a lot. I would be very surprised if he left MTL though. High profile job. Got his buddy at GM. They are having success. Maybe he would prefer to be pres then EVP…Gorton still has that Rangers stink on him. It never goes away.
I wouldn’t be applauding this one specifically as this is the same crew that threw Dean Lombardi (an outsider) under the bus to gain the positions they have/had.
You must not know how they got there…Except they're trying to oust the guys on the inside.
We can't even enjoy getting the #1 overall pick. I don't trust this ownership at all....they are going to screw up this hire big time!!!Based on Staple's Athletic article today, Botta's podcast this evening, as well as all the other buzz out there and I am preparing myself for Marc Bergevin to not just be President, but GM as well.
Not at all what I want, but I only hope he's surrounded by more level-headed/rational people to keep him from being Mike Milbury 2.0.
