They traded my fav player but he’s been bad this year and a UFA. Zac is bigger and tougher.

Maybe he's a good scrapper? He's 6'3" so that adds some needed size (and less rep). Wouldve rather had more skill (ie 3C), this has to be a 4th line addition only.

elite propsects:
A hard-nosed power forward that doesn't do any one thing to a particularly outstanding degree, but does the little things right. He skates well, albeit not with the balance or agility of an elite skater. He has a nose for the net and a quick release on his shot. Defensively active and backchecks hard. Wins a majority of his puck battles, but has to be a bit more consistent in his physical assertion. Must work on his vision, on-ice awareness, and passing as he continues to grow and become more confident. Lots of positive signs in his development and is starting to put the pieces together for a solid career. (Curtis Joe, EP 2017)

Looks like paying for a little more cap space... Blake could take on a big contract if doing picks prospects without sending any money back. Edit: 2.5 hours left - I dont think he wants to be done yet - this is maybe a cap space move prior to another deal (hoping).

Glad Lemieux is gone, never liked him on the team from the get go. Where the hell does MacEwen fit in? We don't have room.

Lemiuex last year was great. This year he was a tire fire in a dumpster. New guy probably sucks too but whatever.

Lemieux hasn't been as good this year as he was last year and his reputation around the league gets him into trouble. So we get someone who does the same thing, slightly bigger and slightly cheaper.

I suspect Blake has another trade in the works
