He didn't make the WJC and there wasn't much in the way of positive highlights after the early part of the season.

He's definitely forgotten about on here because there hasn't been any positive news about him and there are so many other prospects getting pumped.

And if people wanted to talk/ask/learn, it would be a great opportunity to have a conversation.

But as usual, the default ranges between non-contributory and negative.

FWIW, Grans became a victim of numbers. The SHL isn't too different from the NHL, where vets may be favored. He was pushed down the depth chart after Malmö added (former Kings pick) Patrick Hersley. Would he have had more ice time if he played better? Sure. But he was an inconsistent young player with less experience on defense, and his numbers understandably dipped.

Saw Grans play several times. Malmo was a veteran laden defense and Grans didn't get to play a whole lot. This year he would been 3 returning D-men and stood a great chance of playing a great deal under the tutelage of former LA King Andreas Lilja's Defense
