I mean Cleveland will always remind me of that amazing tourism video. I hope to someday see their river that catches on fire.Nice edit there. It's an improvement from deflecting a diss of Columbus back at Cleveland.
You mean put players before team? Blake should fired if he ever does not do a trade to help the team because of sentiment.Just hope Kopitar and Doughty isn't going to be given the same treatment from Blake.
Does CBJ get anything else besides a 1st and Quick?? Asking price for just Gavrikov alone was a 1st and a 3rd.

Yea, this is such a weird take. Yes, they are millionaires and they have access to the comforts in life that not a lot have. That doesn't mean they don't have feelings.Good point, because millionaires definitely aren't people.

You’re more than just a little dramatic. You’re not getting it. The kings have no chance at winning the cup this year, with or without this move. It’s been absolutely brutal watching Quick this year and has been it’s own torture and I frankly expect him to loose any game he starts.
This is not about winning games in a season you’re not ready to go all in.
This is about treating a franchise legend, who’s played his entire career and been SO loyal to the franchise, like a piece of trash. It’s a totally unnecessary move. Just staple his ass to the bench for another month and take the first or second round playoff loss in stride and improve over the off season. This signals to everyone in the locker room that nothing is holy.
After the perfection of the Brown retirement ceremony, this is the ugliest thing the franchise has ever done. Quick should have been able to retire with a modicum of dignity as a forever king. If you can’t understand this, there’s nothing more to talk about.
No Chance??? They're a f***ing wagon this year. You’re not getting it. The kings have no chance at winning the cup this year, w
This is what the tweet actually says:
People with sentiments like these have never had tons of money to know firsthand money can't buy happiness. They think all their personal woes would evaporate if they weren't personally broke themselves. Thus it causes resentment and a lack of empathy for people with money.Yea, this is such a weird take. Yes, they are millionaires and they have access to the comforts in life that not a lot have. That doesn't mean they don't have feelings.
No Kidding. I mean Doughty, Quick & Kopitar have been playing together like 15 years, won two cups together, friends outside the rink. To say nothing about the feelings it gives everyone that everything comes to an end and the end is far closer than the beginning. Of course they're pros and they'll get over it but to pretend they wouldn't be upset is pretty ridiculous.Yea, this is such a weird take. Yes, they are millionaires and they have access to the comforts in life that not a lot have. That doesn't mean they don't have feelings.
Did you miss the part when we had to tear down and retool only to have to tear down further and start a rebuild for youth and prospects the last 2 years (meaning 20/21-21/22)? We overachieved last season when we were labeled as a lottery team and then this season they are almost immediately plagued by key injuries when the season started. The team is heading in the right direction, it's just going to take time. I don't think we're getting Bedard but I do think this is going to be another huge off-season for the CBJ. I really wouldn't be surprised to see the Jackets go hard after Chychrun now. That D needs reinforcing and adding Chychrun this year, a healthy Z, Boqvist and Jiricek next year and that defense could be playing completely different. The Jackets defense is currently barely the AHL equivalent of that, with Gudbranson eating minutes. They wanted him as a 4/5/6, not a 1/2/3.
Ohio could have a lot going for it, but it's one of those places where the state gets in its own damn way. It could leverage the combination of strong institutions + underrated beauty + relatively inexpensive real estate do do really well, but no parent wants their daughter to attend college/work there (like both me and my wife did) anymore.
What core? It's Kopitar and Doughty. Everyone else is nowhere near the cup teams. They will be fineAny Kings fans concerned that this affects the locker room? As many have said, for all Quick's shortcomings this year, that core has been together for a longggggg time and won 2 cups. I'm sure none of them expected this. It was much more likely the Kings upgraded in goal and kept Quick as the backup
f*** feelings. It's a job. A job that pays millions.Good point, because millionaires definitely aren't people.
Yup that's the core (Quick, Kopitar, Doughty.) lol thanks for confirming. Also worth noting that is definitely their leadership group as well. What core? It's Kopitar and Doughty. Everyone else is nowhere near the cup teams. They will be fine
That’s fine, I’ll own it. What team do you root for? Want me to tell you how to feel about a team I know nothing about? You may think you’re being objecting sitting on the outside, I’d vehemently argue that you just see the tip of the iceberg of what this means to the franchise and don’t see what’s underneath. It’s fine, I wouldn’t expect anyone who wasn’t a long time fan to, just be aware of your blind spot. You’re more than just a little dramatic.
The tweet from Seravelli last night was defintely concerningAny Kings fans concerned that this affects the locker room? No team from the West has a chance this year. This is the point. If you want to be pedantic, fine, what’s the chance of anyone from the west winning? 5% if you’re generous? No Chance??? They're a f***ing wagon this year.
