Honestly, the greatest thing about potentially winning the division would be the SJ/Anaheim first round matchup and the meltdown by whatever fan base loses. Yes, one will have to win, I know, but there will be a lot of great reading material from the losing side.

Yup, were totally running them over for long stretches.

Not that we're not hurting but they're missing an entire line of impact players so I'm not going to read too much into it but like I said earlier it's very encouraging to do waht we're 'supposed' to do in that situation

To be honest I can't say I'd watch the 'other' Pacific series if it's Ducks and Nashville. Kings Nash of course I will, and Ducks Sharks would be insanely entertaining with the added bonus of what you say :laugh:

Nashville scares the **** out of me though.

The best thing about winning would be to take the meaningless banner away from the Ducks so they don't have anything to dry their tears off with. :naughty:
 
I'm on the East Coast for business and missed the game. Then check my phone when I gotta take a p*** in the middle of the night. Nice to see a victory. And what did Jim Fox say that was funny? Someone fill me in.

Yup.

I think we can shake up Forsberg, we make him hesitant every time we play.

But Neal has Quick's number something fierce. And the rest of the team always seems to get goofy ass goals against us too.

For two defensive teams, we play an inordinate number of high scoring weird games

He gave it to Karlsson hard.
Nick mentioned something about having seen a number for dial a Swede. Where if you call this number a real Swede will answer the phone. So they were going back and forth and Jim finished it with if you call during a Sens PK you might actually get Karlsson on the phone.
 
Jonathan Quick currently leads all goalies in Games Played (67) and Minutes Played (3,969:31), and is 2nd overall with 40 wins on the season. But he's just an average goalie.

I've really had it woth the point system. With 4 more wins than the Sucks, we should've clinched the division a week ago. Instead, it's still up-for-grabs tomorrow. **** you and your faux parity, NHL. I know parity is good for the league but you'll realize how much it sucks when your team is actually good.

same with Johansen.

They have better D depth.

We have better goaltending (playoff quick is a beast)

biggest change I want in the NHL is to go to a 3-2-1 point system. 3 points for regulation win, 2 points for OT/SO win, 1 point for OT/SO loss.

Why some games currently have 3 points on the line and other games are worth 2 is bogus.

Then again I wish the league still had ties after OT and no loser point. The above just seems like the lesser of the evil that is the loser point

The Kings also benefited from winning a lot of games playing 3 on 3.

Like the other poster said, make regulation wins 3 points, OT/SO win 2 points and OT/SO loss 1.
