ref shoulda blown the whistle if he didn't want mersch picking at the puck.. that's on him. nothing there anyway. overreaction fooled him

Pickard can't figure out his five hole. Has a lot of problems with shots there

A couple good shifts for Luff, surprised he didn't bury that break, it's his bread and butter.

great pass by iafallo there to create it

getting pretty old already watching perron bury elbows into everyone's head against the boards and marchessault chopping wood..

Our AHL team just be Vegas!

Awesome performance!

Campbell was solid, MacDermid was a force, and Laich with the game winner!

man that's good to see all-around.. the reign hanging tough against a full NHL squad and laich being rewarded is the cherry on top

Auger reverted back to regular Auger, instead of the super Auger game he had against Anaheim. He will be waived tomorrow.

I disagree. He was very involved in the game, even when playing against an NHL team. He wasn't a world-beater, but I think he had a solid game. I don't think they'll want to chance losing him to waivers.

Impressed with MacDermid. Gravel was a mess. I think this might solidify our defense.

Forbort - Doughty
Muzzin - LaDue
MacDermid - Martinez
Folin

I expect Fantenberg to be the first callup on defense. Having MacDermid in the lineup removes the need for Nolan, Andreoff, and potentially Clifford.

I've watched extended highlights only as the game was middle of the night for me.

MacDermids goal was decent, he found a lane and got it on net through traffic. Something we didn't do enough of. He seemed to play okay, solid and earned another look.

Gravel. I like him but his head isn't in it. Maybe it's the pressure of fighting for a spot that was his to lose. Well, I think he's lost it. Gutted.

Anderson-Dolan. The kid was involved everywhere and looked decent in his own end. His game will translate to the NHL, definitely.

Loki. Would have liked to see a glorious return but he's done a job and helped out in camp, I wish him well.

Laich. I should feel the same as I do for Loki, but I think he's earned another look. I'm intrigued and he 'could' bring more to the bottom 6 than some other guys.

Iaffollo. He makes things happen. It wouldn't shock me massively if he made the team somehow but my gut is he goes to the AHL, where he could dominate.

Mersch. I'd written him off. I've changed my mind. Earned another look, on the bubble and I think he will lose out to Dowd, barring a trade.

Campbell. If we waive him then we lose him. Looks like he should be the backup. Do we risk losing Keumper? Do we carry 3 goalies whilst the forwards fight for the last NHL spot in the AHL? I'd risk waiving him, certainly better than losing Campbell.

I’d take Campbell over Keumper. Agree on Laich - I think he’d be a great character guy on the bottom six. No way Iaffolo makes the opening night roster though. Really excited about him, but I doubt he plays an NHL game until next year.
