MacDermid is by far the most impressive defenseman playing on the Kings tonight, and I felt that even before he scored.

Mersch won the board battle to get the puck back to him.

I second that. Lee isn't nearly as effective as he was last game. Gravel looks sloppy again.

Holy **** that was a fantastic save by campbell

Campbell is doing really well. That one save on Perron is a lot of luck, given that he couldn't see the puck, but credit to him for putting himself in that position to save it.

Anderson-Dolan was doing a very good job boxing out the Vegas player as Perron took that shot.

Unfortunately I was unable to catch the game today real busy day , anyone have any observations of who looks good ?

Forwards:
Amadio - So subtly good.
Auger - More assertive and confident. Looking better compared to other times I've watched him.
Anderson-Dolan - Making some rookie mistakes/giveaways, but he's always involved
Mersch - He was pretty underwhelming at first, but he had a good 2nd period. Killing penalties, won a board battle to get the puck to MacDermid, battling in front of the net.

Defense:
MacDermid - By far the best defenseman tonight. Physical, defended himself in a scrap, scored a goal and created multiple chances by getting shots through.

Goaltending:
Campbell - Only one who has played, but he's looked very good. The only goal he's allowed so far was due to bad coverage from Gravel.

that's the thing though, i think a lot of goalies wash out and are swimming when they make that first push across but slide into a defender, he just swallowed the contact, slid his right skate around to make the angle and pushed one more time. nice edge work. put the glove in the right place and that's the end result.

anderson-dolan is impressing me for being so green, he's very involved and like that box-out, he's doing little things right

no reason for campbell to go for the double pad stack there either, lol

got a bit excited there..

I know we ***** about rosters but I'm pleasantly surprised about the J team games. It hasn't been fun but they did well

Nice steal and decent shot by Crescenzi. Lee did well to prevent a possible goal a few minutes back.

Ah, hockey. I needed this game to relax and decompress with.
