*ooof* at those line ups. This Is gonna be rough! Lol

Excited to see some guys play though. Especially Watson and Dowd on the wing. Also, wanna get another look at Lee.

Kings are still using the J lineup. When will we see the legit line up?

I would have liked to see more Wong, but they sent him down to the Chicago Wolves.

Looking forward to seeing Vegas against our guys.

ETA: Kurtis MacDermid yet another defenseman in L.A. Kings’ physical mold

“My first season in Ontario, there was a bit too much running around,” MacDermid said. “Now as I get older and more experienced, I learn to wait for those times and if I see an opportunity, I’ll for sure take that chance. It’s part of my game and you’ve got to pick your spots and be smart about it.”
...
“I think he’s known to be a real hard-nosed, physical presence on the ice,” Stevens said. “But we want him to combine that with being a really, really good defender, and that’s on the rush, down low in his own zone. So those are some of the things that we’ve looked for.”

I couldn't be happier. Nice to see some of the bubble type players getting a decent shot.

Agreed, this is the best way for them to make themselves get noticed, without the support of the already established players to fall back on. These guys need to forge an identity at this level and show what their strengths are and whether or not it could be applied in the NHL.

It's a good test and measuring stick to see who stands out, which is what Auger was able to accomplish in the preseason game against the Ducks.

As much as i will be watching Augar and Amadio. I think the defense is the really the battle worth watching. We all know what a disaster Martinez and Muzzin were together. May we can get a few of the bubble defense man looking good enough to split up the two of them Maybe even enough to trade one for a scoring forward. A little ahead of myself maybe but a hopeful thought is not a bad thing is it?

Lot of good things from Stevens RE: Big Mac today.

Does not seem like someone they want to risk losing to waivers.

It sucks that he is a defenseman. This team desperately needs a heavy-weight brawler on the fourth line. We can't have a repeat of last year. And no, I don't trust Clifford to take care of the job.

I don't think any team needs a heavy weight brawler. This isn't 2005 anymore.

If you can't play then gtfo. Guys like Tom Wilson, Derek Dorsett, etc stick around because they can actually play and contribute.

In a few years MacD and Imama will be the Kings tough guys and Clifford, Nolan and Andreoff will be memories like Brad Norton, Kip Brennan, Ryan Flinn and Matt Johnson.

The boys are still resting up from the China trip. They will play in the final two preseason games on Thursday and Saturday. Tonight's game is important for quite a few players looking to make a final impression. The Reign have a preseason game on Thursday morning also, so a lot of these guys will be reassigned, released or waived tomorrow morning.

Are you serious ? Despite whatever ur feelings are about Clifford and Nolan. They won us cups. Last i remember Clifford got a assist on Martinez's cup winning goal. Show me one comparable thing Norton Brennan Flinn or Johnstone did.

You guys are hyping up players that have never played a single NHL regular season game.

Would it suck to lose MacDermid? Sure. But he might very well be our Dylan Mcilrath.

We got this.
