We need a Ramos type to whip them into shape.
You have Rudiger but he's more interested in bullying the kit man. Real need Modric, both on and off the pitch.

Too bad he's suspended, the way Real's defense look tonight Iago Aspas would have had fun.

Modric on, and he becomes Real's oldest ever player.

Luckiest win of the year for Real.

This Celta coach might be the real deal, very well coached game even though I'm unfamiliar with most players they have on the pitch right now.

Mallorca with a short but deserved win against the good guys of Madrid, and now they're in European positions. Rayo have tried parking the bus which is hard to do against a team starting Muriqi and Larin. They were at their best when they were trying to play possession football, as they have the talent for it with the likes of Andrei Ratiu, Isi Palazon or James Rodriguez, and I hope they go back to it.

Barcelona-Sevilla 3-0 at half time, with a couple of surprises in Barca's first 11, Yamal who was supposed to be injured and rested for the Clasico and Ansu Fati who started on the left, but managed to be invisible even with this score.

Nice win yesterday. Sevilla of course aren’t what they used to be, but stilll a nice enough win. Tough to say, but Man of the Match between Raph and Pedri for me. Fati was indeed poor and I didn’t think Balde was great either. In the case of Fati, the part I can’t abide is that he was really lazy when it came to the pressing. Lamine, Raph, Lewandowski, etc all pressing when up front, but not Fati. Nice to see Torre on the scoresheet, but flukey goals. Great to see Gavi back and a nice reception for him. He looked amped to be out there. Gotta take it easy with him though and Flick will have to slow his roll. Speaking of Flick, still can’t understate his influence.

Marca says Jude isn't happy with Mbappe's arrival and him playing lower on the pitch.

Truth is, he's an 8 so he is where he should be.

Mbappe ruining Real is a perfect plan :D

You know, Jude might not be an 8. Jude might be best in that role that Gerrard played for Liverpool when he had Fernando Torres up there with him.

Seems like Jude wants the attention that comes with being the goal-scoring hero, when he came through prodigiously as an all-action midfielder who runs games. Was plain to see when Carsley played him up top and Palmer in a double pivot a few weeks ago, when it should've been the opposite.
