Versatile journeyman forward Torrey Mitchell isn't going to light up the National Hockey League as a nigh-scoring sniper. That's never been his game. But he's been a pretty solid fourth line player (or even a third line forward) who can win a key face-off, force turnover on the forecheck, and be a strong penalty-killer. Sooo... WTF? Don't think I've ever seen a guy who's not injured take this long to get into his first game after a trade, holiday or not. He's Canadian for f***'s sake, not Iranian.
