Remember Graves?I am very much in the camp that thinks all these new analytics can be skewed to suit any argument but even I know +/- is very, very flawed lol.

Hughes out again???
Honestly the kid deserves a break. He carries that team on his tiny little back. Not that I want to tempt the hockey gods, but it would be bittersweet to see Hughes miss 10-15 games and his supporters arguing pace per game over actual contribution compared to Makar for the Norris.
In a tiny backpack?Honestly the kid deserves a break. He carries that team on his tiny little back.
You know you're tiny when Girard slams you into a wall.Honestly the kid deserves a break. He carries that team on his tiny little back.

Another bad GI in carolina on mikko
They just need to bring back the crease rule, which would be annoying but it'll keep it uniform..Basically if you're in the crease and so much as a hard fart goes in the goalies direction it's getting called back this year.
I wonder what the playoffs will be like.

Yeah, I've felt like they've become about as consistent with the GI rule this year as they were with the foot in the crease rule back in the day.Basically if you're in the crease and so much as a hard fart goes in the goalies direction it's getting called back this year.

Wonder what makes the Hurricanes facility not good for opposing teams, anyone know?Interesting stuff here:

The ice arena is owned by North Carolina State University, which uses it primarily for its CBB programme. It opened in 1999 and is pretty much a college-level sporting facility (NCSU's CFB stadium is across the parking lot), which explains why its opposing dressing room sucks. Things have gotten weird though because NCSU were the ones to build it, but Dundon has been given a lot of ownership/rights the past couple of years of the arena from the school to do renovations. I think he might be majority owner of the arena now.Wonder what makes the Hurricanes facility not good for opposing teams, anyone know?
as well as "what caused Rantanen to fall down just now?"Now Carolina fans have to get used to saying "how did Rantanen not score there?"
