Bjornfot got called up
probably means Anderson is out for the rest of the road trip, ( better safe than sorry this time of year).

based on the remaining schedule the Pacific should look like

1) Edmonton ( easiest with 6 remaining SJ x2 Ana x2 LA and Col ) 97 current
2) Los Angeles ( little harder with 7 remaining Van x2 , Edmn , Col , Vegas , Sea and Ana ) 96 current
3) Las Vegas ( very tough - 7 games remain Minn x2 , Dallas , LA , Nash , Sea x2 ) 98 current
4) Seattle ( 8 remain Ari x3 , Vegas x2 , LA , Chi and Van ) current 90 so probably end at WC1 or WC2 (Oilers or Avs-Minn).

I think it's clear the Kings are better offensive team (& hugely so on the PP) by far with Fiala.
I think it's clear the Kings are a better team with Vilardi.
I think the Kings are a better team without Durzi.
Maybe in a couple years, Blake will trade a 1st+ for some pending FA rental size & toughness. Then we can all praise him for addressing this need.

Ah yes, the new, kinder, gentler nhl. Smaller with lightning fast speed.
We saw last night how thats going to work in the playoffs.

Need all 3 of 13, 22 and 44 back before round 1 to have a chance. Maybe *maybe* we could absorb missing Vilardi... but def not Ando or Fiala. GV not on the trip is concerning. Hope to hear some good news re MikeyAndo soon... and F the Oilers. This is where we couldve used Lemieux to replicate what his dad did to Draper on golden boy next week.

I wouldnt wish that on anybody

Looking at the last games it seems Edmonton has it much more easy than LA. Kings don't have any easy ones really. Should beat Anaheim but even that is iffy.

If Fiala/Vilardi/Anderson are all out for multiple games it could be a rough last stretch.

Well Mikey got concussed on boarding from behind. Anyone left here who still thinks we shouldn’t take that dirty SOB out?

How many more boardings is it going to take to understand that this pissant prima donna is going to play by his own rules?

I hope Mikey isn’t out long. Fvck

What it only took him 3 months to recover? Jk man, the post was meant to entertain.. im pretty much eye for an eye when it comes to hockey.. so if 97 turns his back near the boards - seal his fate at approx the same speed.

We roughed up the Soilers pretty badly the last time they were at crypto so the only person I expected to be surprised by what happened is Todd.

Lemieux would've gotten a 5 and a 10, plus another 10 just for lining up next to McDavid and calling him a f-ing douche bag. He'd have never even got a hit in.

Is this the second or third concussion for Anderson the last two seasons?
depends what that injury was from the marchand reverse hit i think. they called it upper body, he was whiplashed but he was holding his midsection immediately after?

i missed most of the game so i don't remember but i think he was concussed vs the flyers like a month before that

Kings are not in the playoffs or falling out of wildcard at best without Fiala.
Hope to see BJo over the weekend.
Questionable knee on Fiala
Highly questionable boarding on Ando
And here we are.
Kings have the receipt and played smart in a crucial game they were severley undermanned in.
We could face the sOil up to 8 more times.
I liked the breakdown someone did on the remaining schedules and it is looking like we end up with Vegas.
God forbid we fall to wildcard, but its possible too.
Korpi looks good and he is the more critical one to resign.
Honestly don't really know if we can squeeze Gavri in.
Maybe if Blake offers him 8 years.
Kings been very mum on injuries past couple months.
This in and out of the lineup stuff is a concern.
But it illustrates the team putting a high priority on where we finish.
The priority is to win games not payback and we may not get both.
But if we are not going to get one, we should make sure we get the other and send that message, before our run ends.
Win or drop the hammer on the way out.

Tuned in just in time to hear Mikey Anderson no longer on the trip.

Granted it's only today and tomorrow but that's still not a great sign, sending him home.
Well - we just gotta hope that he's healthy in time for the playoffs. I don't like our chances at all if he isn't playing.

There's a little over 2 weeks until the playoffs start.

Part of the problem is the lack of progression from Bjornfot. They took a kid in the 1st round who made the team out of camp at 18 and was an NHL regular at 19 and now at 21 is an AHL/NHL tweener. In the big picture when they started constructing the team, they surely had Toby slotted into a more prominent role by now.

Not saying that absolves them from everything, because they should have targeted more LHD’s. But that’s a big reason for the dire situation.

People just say shit. It's not that they don't have LHD. They currently have 8 under contract. Actually more LHD then RHD under contract, and that's including Clarke. If you'd like to add Gaunce in there as an AHL guy, that's that many more LHD. It's weird that Bjornfot, after 33 NHL games to 1 AHL game in 20-21, and then 70 NHL games to 0 AHL games in 21-22, has been in Ontario most of this season, but it's not like he's not there to be used.

Would like to know 1) why he wasn't considered for a regular rotation and 2) what the plans are for him in the future.
