Proposal: LA Kings - MTL (Chariot, Toffoli va prospects)

Chairot is someone the kings should pursue. Big physical sah defenseman. Guy would be a good add for la. Would mon do Andersson for Chiarot?

Gotta pay to play. I like Grans too, which is how LA would get Toffoli back. Kupari isn’t it. He’d kinda underwhelming.

Not wanting a player that doesn’t fit your system is different than saying said player isn’t good. Toffoli is a really good player that makes any NHL better in certain ways. But with a cap and various play styles, I get he’s not a fit for many.

toffoli is absolutely worth a prospect the level of Grans. Toffoli is worth more than Grans.

I’d agree with LA fans that Montreal is wishful thinking that Chairot will fetch their first. Unless the Habs attach their second rounder. Chairot isn’t as good as several rental defenders that will likely become available as the deadline gets closer.

Guys really..........

Every Kings fan replied to your trade request the same way.
They were very vocal that there is no interest giving up any of our youngsters for the 2 players in question
and now you are asking for our 1st rounder.

Can we please acknowledge that a polite, No thank you, has been the answer and move on?

If this were Bergevin and his Quebecois-player mandate, I could see the Oilers giving up recent 1st rounder Xavier Bourgault and expiring cap dumps for one or both.

I'm not as high on him as most Oiler fans. (I'm not usually high on QMJHL prospects unless they're in the MacKinnon / Crosby tier).


But he's been posting some dominating numbers, and is still on a positive development curve. He plays a very 'complete' game, and shows plenty of top-6 skills. Would likely be near the top of the league scoring if he didn't miss time at the World Juniors and such.

I'm a fan of both Chia and TT, but getting this to work while still having assets to get a goalie is ooof.
