Aside from the newly drafted kids, nothing to get too excited over, though I'm intrigued to see how Eyssimont does, as well as Imama and Fantenberg.

Would be interesting to see if they end up signing any of the invites. They signed Luff and Flinn last year.

A lot of those guys are already or will be playing in NCCA. One of those is Easton Brodzinski. Youngest of the three brothers. Michael is under contract to SJ. Maillet played 8 games for Ontario last season. Sean Walker and Keegan Iverson are under contract to Ontario. There are a few Germans from Eisbären Berlin also.

Apparently anyone who played in the A is considered full time pro now and hence Roy is not there

Roy and others have already been there the last two years. It's usually two and out, depending on your age and experience. Luff and Maillet played a bit with the Reign this past year, especially Maillet. Wagner, Amadio, Watson have all been to the last couple of camps so they get a reprieve.

Couple of defensemen have some numbers as older invites. Could just be guys, could have some ability.

Clayton Kirichenko 6'1 195 WHL Medicine Hat 72games 12 goals 52assists
Brady Keeper D 6'2 195 MJHL 48games 23goals 25assists

Fantenberg better dominate this camp, or he should just head home now.

I was very impressed with Ahcan at the WJC for the US. I'm honestly shocked he wasn't signed by someone.

Fantenberg better dominate this camp, or he should just head home now.

Development camp is different from training camp. The goal of this camp is to work on weaknesses and get better.

He could still "look meh" in development camp and have a decent training camp.

Is anybody here going to this? Are there going to be updates/insights/reports?

Thanks!!!

Did anyone attend? I'm in the east coast for a new job. I'm hoping there would be some insight.

Gabriel Vilardi, selected 11th overall during the first round of the NHL Draft Friday evening at the United Center, did not skate Tuesday and instead observed the forwards’ session from ice level. I’m told that he’s dealing with a “minor issue†that isn’t any real concern. He had a long season and played in the Memorial Cup, and I was wondering how the team would approach his use at development camp. “No point pushing him in June,†I was told. I’m not sure if there’s a plan to get him on the ice later this week.

Matt Luff also appears have borrowed a stick from Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
