Comments like this are why Canada can't have nice things, like the Stanley Cup. I almost edited my comment to avoid such mean spirited comments. You have Marc Bergevin in the wings

We traded up for him, too. Our amateur scouting staff is phenomenal, and then Blake and our development staff ruin things. We’re a much better team minus Fiala, Kuemper, PLD, etc and instead having Vilardi and Faber still in the fold (not to mention the extra 1st and 2nd rounders).Wow I didn't know LA drafted Faber lol
Weekes is a moron and is posting it for clickbait . A 35 year old Doughty comes back and all of a sudden our stud young dman who is our leading scorer from the backend all while playing 13 mins a night is available? Cmon its clickbait , someone else mentioned it here too every other week he posts a teams name with eyes emoji and nothing happens . Hes a clown at this pointWell Weekes didn't just post that for fun. I think this might be part of a bigger trade. You don't give up Clarke for spare parts. Think big name hunting.
I'd say there's a chance, based on your accurate 2nd sentence. No chance the Kings trade him, he's just had a few bad games (at least looking at the stats) so he's going to be scratched.
That said, LA seems to be really dumb with how they're using him. Why is he only playing 13-14 minutes a night?
Not all trades come to fruition. It just means Weekes has heard that there are talks.Didn’t Weekes tweet a picture of Pittsburgh with eyes after the Carolina/Colorado trade, nothing happened with that so far.
That’s the same genius thought Blake had when he traded Brock Faber and no he is notJordan Spence is better.
Spence good? That’s the same genius thought Blake had when he traded Brock Faber and no he is not
Makes perfect sense from Blake's perspective. Clarke won't be hitting on all cylinders for a couple of years. If Blake makes a trade that can help now, Kopi & Doughty are still here & Blake won't be GM in 5 years anyways.Weekes needs the clicks eh ? He is suggesting our leading scorer from the backend who is a young stud and barely plays 13 mins a night os available because a 35 year old Doughty came back LOL …. Need i say more ? CLICKBAIT !
He's a fine 3rd pair D. Struggles when asked to do more. Might improve & turn into a second pair guy eventually.Spence good?
I mean is he more of a PMD or does he play decent defense? He's a fine 3rd pair D. Struggles when asked to do more. Might improve & turn into a second pair guy eventually.
Has a good shot, good passing, can run a PP. Gets pushed around a bit in the Dzone. Turning 24 soon. Hopefully less getting pushed around less as he gets older. Not the biggest defender.I mean is he more of a PMD or does he play decent defense?
Bergevin was a successful GM. Bring back Mike Futa then?Comments like this are why Canada can't have nice things, like the Stanley Cup. I almost edited my comment to avoid such mean spirited comments.
Proposals like reminds me why I dont drink anymore...you said Superstar, right??...does Brock Nelson really apply??...
Futa president of hockey operations and Yannetti as Gm or Futa comes in Hockey pres and Gms with Yannetti as assistantBergevin was a successful GM. Bring back Mike Futa then?
Byfield + Clarke for Power + Cozens? It could, potentially make sense for both clubs.
