why do you do this to me

If it makes you feel any better:

He's been struggling. He's only 26 but he's got a decent amount of wear and tear on him. He's in the 1st year of an 8 year deal.

A 2nd round prospect and a 7th.

Not that big of a return.

That was all the way in 2017.
Cory Schneider was traded for the 9th overall pick in '13? That's decent for a goalie. He was playing very well at the time of the trade. That was 11 years ago.

Have there been any high profile goalies moved in their prime recently?

That's a good one. 11 years ago.

Schneider had 2 more years left on his contract at 4M. He returned a 1st round pick.

I'm asking because everyone thinks Ullmark/Saros would get a 1st round pick + quality prospect. But off the top of my head I can't really remember any established goalie returning that much in a trade in recent history.

I think teams are reluctant to give up quality assets for goalies because of their unpredictable nature.

Back injurys suck hard. They almost never heal completely. Especially when one of the experts gets in there and scrambles things

Twice on NHL two different radio shows trashed Rob Blake deals.

A 2nd for Durzi - should have been a 1st or more than just a 2nd.

Fiala and a 1st for Faber.

Yeah, imagine reliving deals long after they've happened just to say " see he was wrong". I bet they never even heard of Durzi, let alone seen him play in LA before he was traded. He's in the perfect spot for his skills, and still gets burned a lot. But points, right?

Guys I have the flu I might just die.

I forgot how shitty it is being sick. My cheeks are blown up.

That was me this time last week :( It's a terrible feeling.

Get well soon, lots of rest. Theraflu tea is amazing. When I was slightly better I moved to Hot Toddys using Weller  But otherwise that, mucinex at night, and herbal teas all day were the only way I could cope. I actually had an inhaler too because one day it looked like it was gonna go south so be cautious!

Theraflu is my go to. I've been adding lemon and honey to it and it actually takes like a drink I'd buy at a café or something.

My boss already chewed me out over the phone for calling out; like god forbid I get sick once in a blue moon.

Some say zinc slows the spread of the virus.. who knows but it doesnt hurt to try. And also good too take your mind off of it raise your spirits - so for you I recommend search youtube for Kyle Clifford fights.. try to find ones where he isnt getting destroyed

I forget where I read/heard it but it’s apparently not his back although it would not surprised me if it’s related in some way. Perhaps a hamstring caused by an imbalance ???
