Ice Girls or not, the atmosphere at home games is trash and it is as soft as the team.

Music is horrible. Why is there a "DJ"? Looks so out of place. Toyota should ask for its money back since the "Tough Hit of the Game" is like a blocked shot or some shit most of the time.

They are catering to the "new" fans who think hockey is Kopi, Brownie, Dewy and whatever Foxy tells them it is. At 43 years old and a STH'er since 2001, am I an old man yelling at a cloud? Maybe, but this is still hockey and if I want to go to an NBA game, then I will choose to go to one.

If the team isn't generating enough excitement, the arena entertainment can't also be a bunch of cringe. Play the effing fight riff for Christ's sake and get the party going!

Gotta agree with this - always the same 'ol tired stuff. A lot of other arenas really mix it up.

During COVID access to the "Event Level" was heavily restricted due to the league's protocols.

As a result, the ice resurfacing staff was made up of Kings employees that would already qualify for access to the Event Level.

At the end of the season the players commented that the performance during that season was noticeably better than previous seasons and so the decision was made to staff the ice resurfacing team with people with a strong background in skating and the auditioning process has become much stricter.

LAME. We need to start a bring the ice girls back campaign. Who cares if the ice surface isn't as good

Sign Corey Perrry and get Arvidsson back.

Perry-PLD-Arvidsson - one has to play on his off wing since they are both RH.

Gonna have a problem with the Salary cap, but I like it.

I have been going to games in Vegas, Arizona and Anaheim a lot recently since friends of mine now all season tickets in those respective cities and the atmosphere is better at ALL those cities than Crypto.

Whether it's hot girls (and guys for the girls), music, fan interaction, you name it...

No one want to see 50 year old men with beards or college dudes shoveling ice in LA.

Yeah, but our team president said he wanted "a more soccer type crowd" at home games.
I think robitaille takes this new nhl idea far too seriously. Hockey is a contact sport and physical play will always be neccessary in the playoffs

If they were easily addressible they'd have been patched up. But theyr'e systematic and have shown up every year this team has been a playoff team. Soft, bad with leads, passive and easily broken with adversity.

Try to improve goal
Add a cheap top 6 wing rental if 33 isn't coming back
Hopefully a player or two from the AHL can make the jump or someone like Kaliyev can step up.

Not that much to fix.

The Avalance can do that because they have Landeskog (hurt), Miles Wood, Josh Manson and Kurtis MacDermid.

The Kings can't sit Englund - they are too SOFT!

Move Englund to wing. Bump one of the guys that can't score. Get Spence & Clarke in & still have toughness.

I get why they want to move him up, because when you watch him play there really should be a minimum 3rd line guy there, but you're probably right. He just doesn't have it in his head/consistency to be more as it stands.


Is this all you can say? The only correct point is that the defense is better now. It's not like we're exactly talking about a better roster when Lizotte is back to 3C rotating with PL who's playing badly, and with Vilardi/Moore you wouldn't have JAD, and Iafallo would be line 4. I also forget Kaliyev was out with the foot injury, so that's 3 regulars being ignored in his tweet

Saw that Lizotte at 3C experiment & saw him pinned in the D zone most of the game & a sweet assist on TB's first goal. Then we all remembered why Lizotte at 3C sucks.

Iafallo was better both offensively and defensively than PLD last year.

So I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that he's better than him again this year.

Got top line ice time. Got power play time. He'd put up 30 or so points with all that opportunity. He's good defensively! He got burned last playoffs by bottom 6 players & took penalties against them after getting burned & put the King's against a red hot PP.

Iafallo wasted the chances he was given & crapped the bed when he needed to be good at defense. Now we never have to hear Fox explain that you can put Iafallo out in any situation again. You can also put Lewis out on the PP & Top line!

I didn't realize cleaning ice was an art form. From what i've observed when i'm attending games, you skate around with a shovel and remove the unnecessary buildup on the top. It ain't rocket science. Or maybe it is?

What do you think would happen if the Lakers got rid of the Lakers girls?

When the fourth line is as productive as your third line, you either have two third lines or two fourth lines.

Considering PLD makes more than twice the other five players combined, he's simply not doing enough, regardless of how the spread works out.

The top six are producing about double the bottom six. As for PLD, it's being done in spite of his existence in the lineup.
