This team really needs some D help, someone that can eat minutes and be trusted in the D zone. Another Fabbro while keeping Provorov or trade Provorov and bring in a serious D upgrade.

Just a beautiful goal by Marchenko for the perfect ending.
I’m not sure of the rule, but on the prior sequence resulting in the PS by Z, Marchenko was tripped but no call was made. Had it been called, would we have gotten a PP after Z didn’t convert or just gotten the PS?

Still saying he’s the same exact goalies he’s always been. There’s a 50/50 chance he lets in 6 next time he plays.
Players play good and bad. “Execution” varies for a variety of reasons. The up and down evaluations of players GAME TO GAME, is ridiculous.
The TEAM being BETTER is a bigger impact on Merzlikins’ “results” more so than anything different he is doing. Play Tarasov consistently/regularly and the same thing would be shown.
