a bit of context - these are lines from the morning skate. rod was quoted that he was trying some things out. the team didn't announce lines for the game.

so, maybe. or maybe roslovic moves to wing with staal and jarvy and we get 2C martinook. or something else entirely, even.

Rod is always ready with the blender, but I'm just relaying what I'm hearing from the truck

I'm all for pulling names out of a hat and hoping to find a spark.

And yeah, Jarvis had a streak from like end of Christmas Break through like right before four nations where he had a ton of goals or whatever and he was definitely with the Jordan line for some of that. Of course, he was scoring in all manners and not just with them I think.

appreciate the 'behind the scenes' you give us. i didn't even pay attention to who posted the lines, they just lined up with the morning skate i had just read about lol. who knows with blend'amour. i also agree with @A Star is Burns - blend away. i wish he'd blend the d, too (1st RD Orlov dream lives). i'd rather learn a little now than have to learn in the postseason. like losing pesce and fast last year. now i made myself sad.

twitter said we'd find out in warmies, so i guess we'll know soon.

I mean, this team is making the playoffs. Rod’s right, the issue has been we acquired two good players and we need to figure out the best way this new team gels. I’m all for the line blender and trying out all the permutations and combinations and seeing which ones are most natural. It’s not like they had a training camp to figure out who plays well together. It’ll probably end up with Rantanen-Aho, but there’s no harm in trying things out and seeing what clicks instead of forcing chemistry that may or may not be able to be forced.
