This is fine. Relatively short-term and can be moved towards the end of the 2nd year if the team is not contending for the playoffs. Someone has to play for this team while we wait for the prospects to develop. None of the forwards are all that close yet.

I have said this multiple times prior to actually signing Palmieri but 2 years was best case. Good on Lou for getting an actual reasonable deal years wise.

was going to be happy with this as long as it was <3 years and under $5M, so checks all the boxes IMHO .. he wants to be here and we weren't going to get that goal production cheaper. Has played well under Roy and someone needs to help hold the fort for the next couple of years.. so good by me.
