New York Islanders: Kyle Palmieri extended for 2 years ($4.75m AAV)

I think that's... fine. 25 goals is 25 goals, maybe one year of overlap with Eiserman and then he'll be out.

seems fair enough but that cap space is getting pretty tight to sign the key RFA's so unlikely much left to take a shot at Ehlers (for example)

Darche stays in the good books with agents by honoring what they negotiated with Lou / same goes for Boqvist .

Got a guy who scored more goals than Ehlers over the last two years at maybe half the price.

This is fine but wish they didn’t include the no trade clause in case things go south this year and the team wants to get assets at the trade deadline.

And Ehlers sucks in the playoffs annually. Fans need to stop thinking this signing is jamming up the space for so ‘amazing overpriced UFA that’s not gonna sign with the Isles anyway.’

Don't love it. He will be 35 next season, rather have spent that money on someone who is 5 years younger. But its only a two year deal so i can live with it.
