I've been saying for awhile now that its going to be a bit of a lame duck season no matter who the GM was . Eiserman , Danny Nelson + whoever we draft a month from now wont be on the roster and as Champin states , Ritchie could probably use some time in the AHL .The cap probably has to go up a bit more and another season peeled off the Pelech / Mayfield contracts before they have some appeal across the league .

It’s a good deal, for that price and term we would be looking at a Duclair like player as a UFA. Sometimes the grass isn’t greener.

What really needs to happen is hockey trade involving Pulock or Pelech. Trading JGP or Casey would also be great

Palmieri has played well on the Island, two years on a team-friendly deal is a win-win. Get the cap right for '28 when it jumps to 113.5 million.

I agree, which is why I’m not concerned about spending 4.75M on Palmieri.

I agree, but since he's still here, a two year deal at that price is not bad. He's still putting up good numbers.
