Aside from having several seasons, not much more you can ask for from Woll aside from obviously staying healthy. Elite goalie who gets even more elite in playoffs

Did not know it had been that long but next time say something like "we still beat you in the playoffs a few years ago." Don't mention the 20 years.

Leaf fans are pretty desensitized to it to be honest. It sounds bad because it is.

Post his stats in those games. Not some random goalie either, he was our top goalie prospect and lit up the AHL before all of this

Leafs are far from in cap hell. They have 22 million coming off the books in 6 months in 2 players alone. They have a bunch of prospects showing they are NHL ready and are quality players. They have found a franchise goalie in Woll, and managed to get a pretty deep team.

And if a Leafs fan is allowed to chirp any team, it is the one team they have beaten in a playoff series in the last 20+ years.

Y'all are acting like he just finished his 55 goal season in Peterborough and we are cramming him down your throats (he had 14 goals in 56 games last season, was anybody 'bragging' about that or just hopeful it was a projection into a top 6 position in the future) as the next great player still. We did that for sure after that season + a couple more but obviously that is long, long past and anybody holding onto that is trolling (super easy on HF boards) or hasn't paid any attention to the player in years, just wanting to "hurr durr leaf team players bad" into the conversation.

Check threads between both teams. It’s always an overrated bottom 6 forward, c prospect and a 2nd for Nelson/Pelech/Pulock and/or a bunch of others the Isles have. The Leafs literally have one player i’d want on the Isles and it’s the guy who scores all the goals with the terrible hairline.

What are you talking about? nobody bragged about Holmberg or Kampf, maybe the year Jarnkork scored 20 he got some love but the other 2? it never happened

That player is not available, the closest guy to that is Brock Nelson and he is both a rental and not better then Tavares.

Same with Granlund, he's not better then Tavares and he's a UFA.

Knies wouldn’t be offered for Palmeri in Leafs world. It would be some prospect that’s overrated and a mediocre pick. You had people on here offering Cowan and a 2nd (because there’s no 2025 1st available) for Barzal or Dobson for reference and I still wouldn’t take that offer. The teams just don’t match up at all. Essentially to move out Palmieri, I’d want something that can benefit the Islanders top 6 next season at the earliest.
