Value of: Kreider to Montreal

I am not offering Kreider for Gally. I simply said any trade for Kreider conversation starts with Gally. If you followed what I said previously, it would take a substantial player to acquire Kreider not the cap dumps and dead weight many Montreal fans offer for every trade scheme they think up. Keep yours and we will gladly keep ours.

As has been stated by anyone outside of Montreal, the offer of Emelin and DD for just about any proposal coming from a Habs fan must be an inside joke.

I personally would rather keep Kreider from this point. He needs a little polishing but he is going to be a beast.

With all due respect, that's not how NHL teams value their players. Sure, you don't want good contributing members of your team going for peanuts, but they can't fetch returns far out of their skillset. We're both okay to say that we'd rather have X comparable player currently on our roster over the other (Usually summed up: no reason either team does this trade). But this would've been like Canadiens brass demanding Panarin or they won't hand over Eller. Two great players who bring something to the team, but on completely different tiers of play.

We're at the point that it doesn't matter if it's McDavid or Tanner Glass being offered. Emelin + DD has become the automatic Habs fan response.
