Both teams are blaming the coaches/organization.

You never know what you have but when coaches aren't playing you, something is up. Kravtsov had some unlucky injuries this season and now seems healthy, but he's left shooting pucks alone on an empty net. If he can't find a place by January. He's gone.

It's not propaganda. It's reality. He didn't make the team. Just cause you think he was better than others as a fan, it don't make it propaganda BS. It's just you not agreeing with them.

Lots of skilled players struggle when they turn pro. Got to overcome it somehow and sometimes it takes time but sometimes, the player is just not good enough. It's a very competitive league. At age 22/23, you usually know what you got.
In prior 2 seasons, they had McKegg and Rooney, just to point out 2 obv examples.
He deserved spot and mins over both of them.
Effin win now mentality seeking instant gratification is to blame.
Should have put in development
but NOOOOOOOOOO they played vets instead
Since we did not win the Cup it was WRONG
If we had the Krav we expected ready to be kickin it now, this squad for sure, possibly earlier ones, would be better.

Similarly setting aside Nemeth. you have a surplus of D, I would rather have ditched one of the dud Fs above, but if you had to, you could have moved Hajek or Tinordi. Season before I think we still had Brendan Smith, lost track.
But pt remains
Only needed 1 roster slot
not BS
there ACTUALLY WERE inferior talents
one of whom should have been gone to get K development mins

Don't know what is wrong with McMichael. Everything is there he should succeed.
There’s nothing wrong him with the exception that his finishing has been poorer than I thought it would be. When he’s been allowed to play center he’s shown he’ll be a very good NHL player. He’s not flashy but he’s always in the right position and plays well on both sides of the puck. McMichael’s issue is that Lavi has played him out of position for 8 minutes a night in a grinder role with no PP time and he’s been playing him with an offensive black hole at center in Eller. The team has handled his development really poorly.

Keep holding onto hope he turns into what you believe he can turn into. Maybe he will but he's not a age 18-21 development guy anymore. Age 22 and soon to be 23. He should be more ready IMO. Development is important but that was what his KHL seasons was for? Romanov did well in development in the KHL before he made the trip across seas.

From what I see, you got a skilled guy that is struggling with the less time and space challenge in the NHL. Different game than the KHL and in Romaonv's case, he was groomed from the back end out. Certainly not spoiled with offensive opportunities.

Good luck. Stings when a top 10 pick disappoints. Habs had that with KK and Galchenyuk. It happens.

Genuine question here: With the capitals so depleted by injuries, why hasn't McMichael received more of an opportunity with their Top 6? Wouldn't they want their best prospect/young player there?
This was one of the big questions surrounding the initial proposal. The fact he isn't getting regular time in the lineup, let alone the top six, makes it seem like there's something else going on there. That's why I wasn't sure if this would be a decent change of scenery trade for both guys

Swap of former 1st rounders who appear to be unable to get in the lineup even though both teams need team to step up to help their lineup. Seems like each needs a fresh start elsewhere. Something worth considering?

Could be good for both teams/players. Kravtsov could benefit from some Ovechkin guidance.

Remember when everyone dumped on Nils until he actually got playing time in Dallas. Now everyone us raving about him. Lets do the same for Krav.

yes, but on the other hand there is Lias Andersson...
