So I saw MSL's reasoning of putting Slaf on line 2. That's desperate move to get Newhook/Armia going it seems.

Slaf running a line is good because he is an excellent passer, and I think Newhook and Armia could benefit from Slaf putting it on a platter for them. Newhook and Slaf had chemistry before too. I would rather have someone other than Armia rounding things out, but I guess we can't have everything.

You can easily notice NObody sets up Caufield for his shots better than Dach too the last 2 years (3*)
So it's infuriating it hasn't been tried as a 5 on 5 duo yet
I think Caudield - Dach - Newhook could work
And then Slaf - Suzuki can get Laine when it's time imo

I heard that Armia has changed the way he wants his given name pronounced, I kid you not.
The former artist known as Yoelle, now wants to be called Joel (pronounced “Jole” with a hard “J”).
I don’t care, Yoelle suits him better. The name is more compatible with a player who gets bounced to the AHL.

Tough to say if Newhook is useless at center. We've got him with scrubs.
Personally, I prefer him at wing but he'd look a lot better at center if his wingers were Laine and Roy or Slafkovsky.

A quick glance at Kraken roster tells me they are a deep, 4-line team.
They are also coming off a 3-game losing streak against mostly strong opponents.
