Did I say that?

Perhaps I'm just illustrating that he's a better player than a lot of people thought (especially Habs fans).
There was a thread last year on how he had great production for a chunk of the season before he fell off a cliff. Exact same thing happened when he was with the Habs too. He's an inconsistent player. Most Habs fans say he's a 3C and if he can become more consistent a 2C. You bringing up a comparison to Suzuki's last 30 games is laughable.

I like how people are dunking on Sam Gagner like he was some terrible player. Dude was a very skilled offensive player who was given almost no support during his prime scoring years.

From 2007-2013 he was 35th in scoring among centers despite playing for one of the worst franchises in the league.

Why? Because you don't like it?
You seriously need me to explain how a 30 game sample is nothing? Especially when Suzuki has like 20 more points than him this season on a shit team?

Kotkaniemi has 18 points in the last 25 games, Gaudreau has 18 points in the last 26 games. KK is a better player than Gaudreau and if anyone says otherwise they simply don't like it according to you.

The absurd banter of Canes fans has taken over
Some of the absurd posts in this thread deserve absurd banter.

I can’t believe a thread about someone having a 5 point game has over 200 replies.
I can't believe you came to a thread about someone having a 5 point game to comment about how many replies there are.

Has someone said KK is a better player than Suzuki?

His best streak last year was 18p in 30gp.

He's been better than Suzuki in the last 30 games, but that's not saying much considering how poor Suzuki has been.

Yeah, Habs fans definitely want more consistency from Suzuki. Guy making 7.8 millions is not paid to take nights off. Can't be falling off a cliff like that.

Tell me why someone would bring up this "random" 30 game sample if that wasn't the intent. Like I said, KK has better stats than Gaudreau recently too. What does this thread have to do with Suzuki that the poster had to bring up? Good for KK to have more production than those two in the last 30 games, that clearly means so much when he's still below 0.5 PPG unlike those two.

Sure, but isn't this thread about KK's 5 point night? Not to mention that Suzuki has had consistency when it matters the most such as in the playoffs where he was the 2nd best player on the team behind Carey Price both times. He's got similar production to Svechnikov who signed the same contract without the same quality linemates, on a worse team, as a center with a better playoff resume. He's the least of our worries.

To highlight that he's a better player than Habs fans would lead you to believe? And that he's been playing great hockey for a while now?

You seemed really excited to talk about Suzuki so I thought I'd indulge you.

Call it southern hospitality.
