Growth, Jim, it's called growth.
That's what the minors are for.

Here's the thing I am willing to give Jack and to a much lesser extent Nico credit for the success we are having this season...but by the same token you have to lay the blame for those atrocious seasons directly at their feet for their lackluster play. It's only logical.

I wonder what channel Cory Schneider ends up on when he's done? ESPN or TNT?

He seems more like an ESPN guy.

And you know he'll be on one of them, as he was doing TV during the playoffs all the way back in 2014 and even as recently as the covid playoffs in 2020 when he was subbing one afternoon on NBC when they had games on all day.

Don’t think they would be anywhere near where they are now if it wasn’t for those seasons

Anyways enjoy the win and the fact that we have two bonafide superstar centers

I see no way it costs less then a 1st, Holtz, Yegor and I have no issue doing it
We are at the point as a franchise that it makes mkre sense to use our 1st round pick on an elite player that helps us now , instead of 3/4 yesrs down the road when the pick MIGHT turn into an NHL player , especially where our pick likely ends up (32nd lol) .
No poimt in hoarding playere like Shara , we habe the prospect and player depth to trwde someone like him if we add an elite piece like Meier. Make it so Fitz

This team has NO QUIT! Vanecek absolutely kept the team in it and deserved a star. Surprised Jack didn’t got one but good for Tater. We almost got goalie’d so credit to Thompson. Never had a chance on either goal.
In our big winning streak we overcame good goaltending performances against us to win. We find all kinds of different ways to win and Thai part of the year is a real grind and a real test. Teams become more desperate and more prepared and we adjust and find a way!

I hope he ends up with ESPN. I really liked Cory on TV. I like Callahan but swap him out for Cory on that panel and it's about as close to perfect as we'll get in hockey

Finding ways to win games they should be losing is huge for a young team. Might be the best sign things are actually turning around. The "bad" game aren't horrendous and they aren't playing themselves out of games. The attitude when they fall behind in games is a complete 180 from last season.

Sure. Except I simply don't believe they were capable of playing at this level (or anything in the same stratosphere) at that point. Hard for me to be too hard on a dude for simply not being ready yet.

They were the better team tonight though?
