He got injured in the 2nd vs Tampa (the loss), they didn't say what, just upper body. It's minor and PoMo said if it's playoffs he'd have played vs the Pens or Canes but because these games aren't important they're giving him time to get to 100%. He should be back soon.

Edit: though, Mo saying he’d have played if it were the playoffs does sound like he’ll be out a bit. He’s always off on his injury projections.

It's noticeable how the goals just aren't going in lately. Halfway through a long season, it doesn't bother me too much. In the 3rd, I did see them get on the forecheck and hit and show some of the process that we will need every night come April. It still feels alot like energy saving and injury avoidance at this point. Sleepwalking some more through Jan and Feb then the final tune-up in March to run it back? Well see.
